Cheltenham scores Changing Places hat-trick

Three new Changing Places toilets will have been installed in Cheltenham by the time the summer is out after the local council pledged £88,000 of funding to support accessibility.

Work on the latest toilet, which will feature top-of-the-range kit such as a hoist, adjustable bench and specialist WC, will begin this month.

Another facility is planned for the town centre and department store John Lewis announced in April its Cheltenham store would be fitted with a Changing Places toilet.

Changing Places toilets feature additional equipment to standard disabled toilets and they present an expanding market for providers and installers.
