Government must appoint a Minister for Disabled Children, says Scope
The government needs to appoint a Minister for Disabled Children and Families to promote the needs of disabled children, offer them and their families more robust support and optimise the effectiveness of policy implementation
That’s according to disability charity, Scope, who said a new minister wouldchampion issues facing disabled children and their families, bringing together relevant departments and bodies.
The minister would also provide charities, businesses, disabled people’s organisations, disabled families and the public with a focal point within government.
