Little Girls Dream of Playing the Trumpet Comes true overcoming disability

Leah is 11 years old and loves music, her and her sisters all enjoying listening to music and have been encouraged to participate in music from young age. Leah faced some difficulty because she has a disability which has disabled one side of her body. Leah's mother Bianca, suggested that Leah learn the trumpet as it is an instrument that can be played one hand. Unfortunately the only way she could play it was from the sitting down position with trumpet rested on her lap, this inhibited her breathing, her quality of playing, it made her neck and back ache which meant that she would have to keep stopping to take breaks, all of which were tiring and frustrating.
